Hello guys, this is Bhushan Vhavle and in this video, I had explained to you why we celebrate Makar Sankranti. Makar Sankranti is a Hindu festival that marks the beginning of the sun's northward journey, also known as the 'Uttarayana'. It is celebrated in various parts of India and Nepal with great fervor and enthusiasm. The festival is celebrated on 14th January every year and marks the end of the winter solstice. People fly kites, take dips in holy rivers, and prepare sweet delicacies like til-gud (sesame and jaggery mixture) and pitha (rice cakes) to mark the occasion. The festival has a deep spiritual significance and is considered an auspicious time for new beginnings. It is also a time of forgiveness and letting go of past grudges. Join us as we celebrate Makar Sankranti and learn more about the customs and traditions associated with this festival
